I am in the processing of renovating a bathroom and I was debating about whether to put in an electric pumped shower or a power shower. Has anyone installed both in the same shower enclosure and maybe had a common shower rail between both. if so is there anything which i need to watch out for ? plus, is there an adapter I can buy which can accept output from both and run it into one shower head.

I put in an electric shower and also installed a pump in the hot press on the old shower which comes from the bath taps as during winter time the tank is usually hot from heating being on and summer time an electric shower is more convenient. As for the shower heads,in my opinion the one supplied with the electric shower works best for that and a pumped shower has way more pressure so should get a different head for that. I'm not sure if using the same head for both will give you a decent amount of spray etc. I leave whichever shower head not in use behind the taps on the bath but still connected to water supply.
No harm ringing a plumbing suppliers and asking their advice re head sharing.

Thanks for that desoc, I never thought of the shower head being particular to the type of shower. I'll stick in a common rail and just put the shower heads on top of each other in it

You cant share shower heads however there is nothing wrong with putting 2 showers in the one unit however it looks awful imo.

Yeah, I was kind of worrying about whether it would look a bit too busy on the wall. They are both Mira and look pretty similar but that will probably make it look even more odd ?
