    Stay away from custompc.ie...
They are a mickey mouse organisation
    With terrible customer service....
I had purchased a motherboard and they sent out the wrong model...
They argued this couldn't happen and that I'd have to pay to return ship it and if they have made an error they would refund it...
Well 2 weeks later with numerous emails and 1 sentence replys nothing has been sorted out...
I had returned the board within 3 days of receiving it....
2 days ago I asked for a refund...I only got a reply today to say it will be processed and no mention of my return shipping fee...
Custompc.ie isn't even Irish it's an English company that's uses tekone in Naas as a distribution company...

    Beware

Bought off them twice, third order on the way, and have had no complaints.

Nearly one month later still haven't received refund...
    Their responses are laughable..
They told me that when I sent back the motherboard, the warehouse found it to be the model I wanted...
Well then why would I send it back looking for the same model?
Surely if a company sends you out the wrong item it is their error?
This guy mails me saying I was within 7 days return policy that I didn't have to give an explanation to why I was returning it...
    I wasn't returning it, I didn't receive what I ordered?
Surely then should have paid return delivery for this error?
Anybody no what I can do about this?
Since their a uk company I have to go through the European consumer complaints dept...

They are an Irish company. But based in both Naas & Northern Ireland.

Judging by your 2 posts, you aren't the type of person that discusses things quietly or with basic manners, hence the response from custompc - and any other company too.

Good Manners and politeness cost nothing whatsoever and get you so further ahead in any dispute.

I presume you have a copy of your order. This states what you bought. You had the product - where were the decernible differences between what was on the order and what was delivered. Explain these, send a polite email and await a response.

Though probably too late to get custompc to offer anything other than a refund of the product price at this stage.

Exact same problem with custompc.ie, promised cd software with a computer and have the emails from them verifying this. Firstly they lied said they had sent the software, when it didn,t arrive , they lied again saying it was sent. Then when asked again why it hadn't arrived they then denied every offering it in the first place. So I had to send them the emails in which they confirmed they were including it, to date still no software and thats 7 months later. So if your foolish enough to give them any future business be prepared for this kind of attitude once they have your hard earned cash.

Absolutely usless company and i would recommend anyone who wants a custom made pc to avoid them like the plague. There are cheaper, better run, professional companies out there like yoyotec in the uk. This company deserves to fail.

Hey guys i also had a problem with custompc.ie. back last month i puchased a
    Pc case
    RAM
    Motherboard
    AMD 1100t cpu @ 193.24 euro

all except cpu arrived within the week, so i waited for a week for the processor and desided to phone them. The fella on the phone told me that they would not have charged it from my card if the could not deliver it within 10 days! 3 weeks later still nothing so i tried to phoning a few times again but no answer, So i sent an email. few hour later Alan (Helpful chap) replied telling me that amd in germany is not releasing and processor at the minute due to flooding, but should have it next week. the following week i emailed alan back to see whats going on? he sent me a link to their partner site and asked if there was an alternate cpu i would like from there. so realising i was not going to get the 1100t i chose the fx-6100 @ 153 euro from techdirect.ie shure enough 5 weeks ofter my order i can finaly build the system. Problem now is they have no interest in refunding me the diffrence between. i have emailed Alan and asked him if there was credit on my account because i would like to buy a graphics card too but he just said credit can not be transfered between sites:mad: email them a few times but is just ignoring me now. Been told to do a chargeback on my credit card but i dont think you can do a partial one?

    Stay as far away as possible from TECHDIRECT.IE ; CUSTOMPC.IE ; TEKONE.IE

Have been waiting the goods to be delivered for a month and a bit now....

Was really hoping to finish computer before Christmas, but nothing

Tried to call them numerous times and all i got in answer is "THE PERSON YOU ARE CALLING IS NOT AVALIABLE AT THE MOMENT"

Got 1 reply on my 20 emails and silence after that......
The status on their website says that the order is still being processed...

The incopetence is at the peak in this company and i will never suggest it to anyone
