Ford Fiesta Airbag light

    I have a 99 Ford Fiesta Diesel with a 1.8 engine.
The airbag light is on, it stays on when I turn on the ignition.
I was just wondering how to fix this problem as it was one of the things I failed on my NCT!

    Diagnostic computer.

8 times out of ten on these the problem is the connections under the seat. Years of damp feet and moving the seats forward and backward can strain the wires and connectors.

Push the seats forward and contort yourself into the back. Unplug the yellow plugs, check for corrosion. Spray liberally with WD40 then push them together and pull apart 5 or 6 times.

If that doesn't fix it then as Plug said, it has to go to a diagnostics check.

Contact spray would be better than WD40 for this task.
