Whats eveyone doing for this subject?

The books seems very technical and long winded.

Does anyone have any good, clear concise notes in relation to this subject?

What are the important topics/areas ?

Dont think think this subject will be biggest of my worries but at the same time it is an individual subject for some reason, one of super 6. Not sure why they didn't lump it in with Business Leadership. Imagine goin down on this subject cos u neglected it.

Im not gonna look at that blue book - seems like a complete waste of time at this stage. Just gonna try to identify the type of indicators that come up and see how theyr answered - maybe do out skeleton outlines of how to answer. I've only attempted a handful of cases so far, but the following are the types of indicators coming up:-

    - Decision to outsource (2010, comprehensive) / upgrade system (sample paper 1, simulations 3)
    - How to implement new accounting system (Mocks)
    - Issues/problems with current systems (Building Fixes)

Similar enough to fancyanosh, I'm going to use the competency statement and spend about a day and a half on the subject.

Really just want enough to get through here. At the end of the day there will be two indicators for this subject so it can't be ignored. Possibly warrant more than a day and a half though.

I went to one of the lectures and it was a total waste of time.

oh was the lecture not good? I thought I heard that the lecs were useful to let you know what you should be studying... I was going to watch the lecture at some point but you don't think that is a good idea?

I heard the old multi d papers were a good way to study IMP but i'm not sure what that even means........ lol

Well try out one of the lectures for half an hour and see what you think. The one I was at started with just over 20 people present. By the break there was 7 people there..

The lecture joked about how this normally happens. He himself appeared bored to be there and generally not bothered. The worst lecture from the institute I was at all year. Otherwise I found the the vast majority of lecturers this year were quite good.

Found it exactly the same, even the lecturer seemed to think it was a pointless subject!

I got competent (green) in this last year and never went to lecture and the book was and still is a disaster. Think looking at old Multi D papers are best way to skim over this area which is all I'll be doing this time aswell.

It would be a hard blow to take by failing the FAE's on IMP in all fairness!
