    Hello There,

first post in this forum (probably) so sorry for the rather mundane question...

Currently selling couple of clubs and a set of irons on eBay. In the past I have shipped them with parcel2go.com but they have become a good bit more expensive and also Ireland to UK is now cheaper than Ireland to Ireland which is now €18 for a single club?!?

What are you guys using? Any tips of who is the cheapest shipper?

    Thx

Why not sell on adverts.ie and other Irish sites and arrange to meet up with buyer.

Network International Cargo are fantastic, I shipped two sets of clubs to Celtic Manor recently. To ship them there and back again was only €70, not bad considering a certain airline would charge €160 return for both sets!

If you want the details of my contact there just send me a DM, cheers!

An Post always worked out fairly cheap for me and I've never had any problems.

    Just a quick follow-up.

Both clubs were shipped within the Republic and AnPost was just grand. Either €7.50 for normal or €12.25 for registered, I went with the latter as that's what I had quoted the buyers for anyways.

    Thanks again.

Anyone ever buy clubs from the US and get them shipped with a company rather than the shop?

By company, do you mean Fedex or a courier?

If so, you will end up paying customs on them 99% of the time.

If you mean one of the mail forwarding services (like http://www.usglobalmail.com/ for example), then although I've never used them, I've heard good things about them. A friend used one such company (don't think it's the one in the link there) and was very happy with whatever he purchased. Not sure if he had to pay customs on what he got though. Don't think he did, but that was a couple of years back, before Customs here in Ireland became so strict.
