Personal Injury Solicitor Dublin

Can anyone suggest a competent and reasonably priced solicitor for personal injuries (from a Road Traffic Accident) in Dublin?

Most seem to specialise in property or the advice I get off people are relating to solicitors who sold their house for them etc...

It was a fairly 'standard' accident and the other party was at fault. Also there would not be any doubt as to the injuries sustained. Would I be better off going with anyone at all? Is it all fairly standard?

Don't think I'm going to need Johnny Cochran.... :)

    Thanks

You obviously haven't looked at the solicitors' section of the Golden Pages for a while.

If you are still looking I would be happy to introduce you to a real pro specializing in personal injury.

That would be yourself then as your only other post in boards.ie was this contribution in another thread in the Legal forum....

Hi, did you go ahead with the pib? If you are still deciding on a course of action there is a specialist solicitor in Dublin I could recommend. Personal injuries are something I have experience in. The pib while good are far from great.

Why don't you pay for a page in the Golden Pages and stop trolling for business here.

Sorry if I did something wrong. I'm not a solicitor, I'm not trolling for business, I thought it might be useful. Yes I did post twice - both were looking for the same thing!

Your first two posts ever on boards were attempting to recommend a personal injury lawyer on two separate threads, that usually rings alarm bells among the people who frequent boards.

You must first go through injuriesboard.ie You can do this by yourself (fairly easy) or you can hire a solicitor. If it is a standard claim you should consider doing it yourself as they will not award the cost of solicitor fees. If you find it complicated or if you do not feel comfortable then you can pay for a solicitor to process your claim for you. It takes about a year for the process but basically the injuriesboard look at the medical evidence and choose a figure for compensation. If you and the other party's insurance company agree on this figure then it is paid to you and that's the end of it. If one or both of you is not happy you can reject it and get permission from them to go to court with it.

I was in a similar situation to yourself last month. I decided to go with a solicitor as there were some complications in my claim. He had experience and a reasonable fee so I decided to play it safe. I suggest you have a look at injuriesboard.ie before you go any further.

OK, I can see what you mean. Usually I just read posts. Won't be making that mistake again. Thanks.

That's not the point. If you usually just read posts I'd recommend starting with the charters.
