    Hey guys,

Right my local Radio station are holding a competition at the moment called "The Word" basically you must guess the missing word. The sentence goes like this:

I go too a Rockabilly Style Hairdresser, there more for the likes of a _______________ fella.

    The clues are as follows:

This is a 3 syllable word
    This can be vain
This type of man wears skinny jeans
    It's all around us
Can be seen on the catwalk
This word is in the medical dictionary
You can call someone for this
    This can leave you staggering
    This can leave you speechless.

This missing word is driving me crazy & at the moment is worth €760.00 so if anyone has any suggestions, please post.

    Thanks :D

Got an examples of previous sets of clues and actual answers? Might help in solving it to know how 'precise' the clues are likely to be.

Also if I pm the answer and you win the prize will you split it with me?

Yeah - seriously, nobody is going to give you the answer and let you swan off with the €760 prize!!

There was one before and the sentence went like this:

It was great, it was like we infected everybody with the ______________ of the love, and the clues were:

This can be seen on the skin.
This can be transmitted but not by radio
    This can spread like wildfire
    3 Syllabub word
This can be associated with Royalty.

There was a load more but can't remember them

Anyway the answer turned out to be "Infectiousness"

So can anyone help on this one? Sorry for wrecking heads lol :p

@ Mr. E, I have no idea what that had to do with Royalty but these are the type of clues they give.. Anyway, it is the first post I am asking about, as that 2nd sentence has been done & won.. Honest to god this is cracking me up lol.
It has been going on with almost 3 months at this stage I'd say!!!

...and did they really refer to the sentence as 'more for the likes of A _______ fella' all along? there's supposed to be an N there. as in, an emaciated fella.

In this radio station's world both infectiousness and emaciated are three syllable words?
