    Hi All,

Just thought i'd let you know theres some unscrupulous companies ripping people off:

    e.g.
    http://www.birthsdeathsmarriages.ie/

    Marriage Certificate:
    €37.50

    http://www.irish-certificates.co.uk/
    Marriage Certificate

    Standard Service - £25.00
    12 Working Days

    Express Service - £40.00
    5 Working Days

    Direct from the HSE
    http://www.hse.ie/lifeevents/

Wedding Certificate in Ireland - 10 Euro.
Wedding Certificate Posted abroad - 12 Euro.

Certificates from the HSE are dispatched within 5 working days.

Basically these companies are making more than 100% Profit for doing SFA (I.E. Entering your Details online, getting the HSE to post it to you and then charging you for the privilege)

I seem to remember those rip-off merchants being mentioned here before.

I used these w*nkers a few years ago on recommendation from someone who didn't know any better. After paying 37.50 for something the HSE could have given me, I realised they sent me an invalid birth certificate. It wasn't my proper birth certificate and I wasted time and money trying to sort it out and got it for free from the HSE after all.

A guy in the HSE said they just pay for SEO and they rank higher than the HSE for the search terms. I wrote them an email to say I wasn't happy with what they had done, and they hadn't provided me with what I paid for, so would be contacting the small claims court. Then they replied to me to say that slander would not be tolerated, and threatened to sue me. Absolute ****!

I'd love to find out who actually works there - it's only in Dunboyne, they're very non-specific about their whereabouts, I'd say they're above one of the main units in town. I bet it's just 2 people raking it in.

From memory its an accoutants office in Dunboyne

Service had a purpose before the HSE had a website, now its just a margin scam.
