paypal taking money

hey
i set up my paypl account a few days ago. when i logged in they had taken €1.96 out of my account. i hadnt made any purchases yet. i confirmed my card and they took another €1.50 out which has now been returned.
how come they took out the €1.96 and will i get it back?

I think one is to confirm your card, and another to confirm your address, or something.

how do i get it back? i checked paypal and the box on the right where it said to confirm the card is empty so i dont know what to do.

When I got my PayPal account I was only charged the €1.50, I got that back. I never heard anything about a €1.96 though.

Have you contacted PayPal to ask?

yes i emailed them but no reply yet.
