'New' search slow at providing results

Was just trying to delete a number of posts from a spammer, so used search to ensure I got the lot of 'em. However, using old search provided no results even though there were four (all had been posted in a five or so minute period). Had to return to old search to track down the posts.

It's not the first time, so just wondering if it's an inevitable issue given the way new search is built? And if so, how long do we have to wait for the results to appear?

    Thanks :)

Results usually appear within 5-10 minutes of being posted, new search is not the ideal tool for spam handling alright; need to use old search to catch those.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
