    Hi

I have subtle timing question with my employment contract. My contract does not allow me resign during a 1 year period from Nov 18 /10 to Nov 18 / 11, should I do so, I will be liable for some costs due to my visa and sponsorship situation.

I wish to finish up on Nov 18 this year, but the thought occurred to me that if I resign on Oct 18th, I will have resigned during the 1 year period and would be liable.

Is my act of resigning the day I hand in notice, or the day I finish, unfortunately I think it may the former and I may have to wait the additional month and resign on Nov 18th !?

    Thanks for any advice.
