    hi everyone

Does anyone know where I can buy wonder web? I'm sick looking for it at the moment, I have tried all the big tescos/dunnes and no one seems to stock it. Some shop assistants havent a clue what it is and look at me as if i have ten heads when i ask do they have it! I know a material shop might be the best bet but anyone know anywhere around grafton street I could look? I cant sew properly and I have loads of trousers with the hems down!!! :D

    thanks in advance

Sometimes discount shops have it. I got 4 rolls of it in a 2€ shop last year. Brilliant, because I can't sew either!

Super Valu stocks a knock off version. It's in a green packet on a rack with scissors, thread, pens and stuff.

The one on Aston quay definitely has it, it's about €1.40 I think.

failing that I always get mine in old school drapery shops. The likes of Hickeys would have it too.

I'm useless with a needle and thread. I found a yellow tub of fabric glue in Woodies. It's fantastic. hemmed lots of trousers, they've been washed loads and the hems remain in place perfectly. Unfortunately I can't find my bottle of it so as to give you the name but it was a small enough hard plastic bottle, kind of squarish, with a nazy nozzle lid..!Hope that helps.

teso stock wonderweb, I saw it yesterday in the aisle with the baking trays/cutlery etc.

tesco will definitely stock it, look on the end of the aisles, I know for certain that Tesco Athlone and Portlaoise have all their needles/thread/etc on the end of the aisles and stock iron on webbing for hems. its not as good as WundaWeb but will do short term.

I saw it in Hickeys in Cork, so you'd probably get it in one in Dublin too:)
