Trying to find the title of this poem

Hi everyone, sorry if this post is a bit vague.
I remember reading a poem in primary school and the message always stayed with me a bit.

All I remember was that it was an analogy for a strong relationship; it was about two people skating on the ice. They'd skate together and now and again one of them would fall into the ice. Sometimes both of them would fall in it. But it said that as long as they both went to save each other first as opposed to themselves then their love would always prevail.
That's all I remember, tried googling but no luck.

    Any help, please?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Think the poem might be The thinness of Ice by Liz Loxley. Think it was done as part of the Junior Cert.
