Questions about repeats and repeat form

I failed a subject, I got a D on the paper but an F on the CA's so I've to repeat the CA anyway. But if I repeat the paper too and say if I happen to fail does my grade stay at a D from my original exam or will it count as an F as I failed the repeat exam?

    Cheers.

EDIT: Figured out the repeat CA part!

If you were to repeat the paper and get an F you should still be credited for the D from your first attempt. You can only really increase your marks with a repeat but your award level will remain the same.

Says on the pink coloured letter that you got with your exam results that online is the only pay facility.
