Did I accidently buy from Sky Boy office?

To cut me some slack, I'm a newbie. I accidently pressed select and then the screen 'checking purchasing information' came up at which I **** myself and ran over to the TV and switched it off in the hope that the purchase wouldn't go through.

Please tell me another screen had to come up to confirm the purchase?

Turning off your tv will not stop any activities on your Sky box.

It's not a case of "if you didn't see it, it didn't happen". If you didn't turn off the skybox, it would have continued on its merry way with what it was doing.

disconnect the phone line,from the sky box (unless you have multiroom )

then it cant happen again.

Checking purchase info just gets a price for you, you still have to confirm purchase.

There will be another screen to confirm the purchase ,

Although who ever turns on the TV next will be sitting in the purchase screen of what ever movie you were looking to buy.

You need to confirm the purchase and even then, you're still not charged until you actually begin watching whatever it is you ordered.
