Quick heads up...

I am thinking of buying a run around but would like to get the car checked over just so I'm not buying any obvious trouble. I used the AA a good few years back and I thought they were OK but I dont know what they're like for older cars that may have more deep routed issues, and I'm not mechanical.

So, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on value for money or what level of check they get into. (or is there some other company who are ace at this but that i just dont know about??)
