    Hey,
I'm thinking of getting a new monitor, and thought it'd be a good idea to put up a post to see what is out there these days.

I'd be using it with a macbook pro, and also sometimes a Dell XPS. So it'd have to be easy switchable between the two laptops.

With the mac I'd be using it for graphics work, photoshop etc. With the Dell, I might be using it for poker multi-tabling. So for these two uses, a high resolution is pretty important.

With this in mind, would it be better to get a dual monitor set up?

I'd then like something that is decent for movies etc, but this isn't really that important, it's more the work stuff that is the priority.

I'd much appreciate any info :)

edit: I forgot to mention that colour clarity is very important for the photoshop work.

Viewsonic or HaansG are very good monitors, doubt you will get them on stores though, maybe online?
