    Hi all,
Thanks for your time in reading my post :D.

I recently got my hands on a crashed 2001 Carrera 4 with 3.4T engine, the engine is in top condition the car was hit from the side unreparable but everything essential survived, so i was thiking to do something with it rather then selling its cuts.
My idear was to transplant that engine into a VW Beetle/Bug, So my question is, is it poosible?, if so what Bug goes best?

    Srry for being a noob,

    Kind regards.

Admittedly i know as near as makes no difference nothing about engine conversions other then if you put an engine like that in a car like that alot of upgrades need to be done (i would imagine), but ive seen loads of videos with bugs with huge mad engines in them drag racing so i presume they're engine conversions so it's possible??

    Its possible,

Will need to upgrade nearly everything from the standard Beetle.

I'd love to do a Beetle Cosworth :)

Much better options would be a retro-fit into an older 911 model.
Between restoration & mods the beetle will be hacked but a retro 911 would be great.
Another option would be a Speedster kitcar.

    Happy dreaming Brah!

OP's suggestion would be a terrible waste IMO if the engine/drivetrain could be fitted in an older retro 911 to create something quite special.
