Was going to post this in the social welfare section, but since this is on behalf of a friend (she doesnt use boards) I thought I would post here.

Basically, shes 21 and is staying with her cousin for the time being. She went to 3 different social welfare offices today trying to get on it. They all rejected her as she needs a "permanent address" - obviously she cant give the cousins adress as she is only staying there (also one of the room mates is already on the SW)

    any help?

I was always under the impression that if you had no permanent address you could still get on the SW / in order to get a permanent address.

To be honest,if she has been rejected in 3 different social welfare offices then Id say she is pretty much snookered, they would obviously be a much better authority on it than anyone on boards.

Im locking this thread as what you are asking is essentially for help on how to defraud the social welfare system which is illegal.
