Hi just wondering could someone help answer my question

Myself and my partner are looking to recieve rent allowance
my partner works 2 days a week so i was wondering do we still even qualify for the rent allowance? also if the house you choose is over a max of what the social pay can you still get it and pay the difference? or has it to be below the rent limit..

My mind is in overdrive and would love to know. thanks:D

you could still qualify it depends on income levels and outgoing levels. Your partner works 2 days so you should be entitled to something.

Unfortunately its not as simple as paying the difference. You must be on the limit or below it. Some people do falsify their books and say their rent is under the limit and pay the difference but really its dishonest and gets messy best to just try and get cheap rent or rent reduced.
