Dole from Ireland to the Uk

    in September i am going to move back to the uk i am from there and i am going to move back with the parents

    Now the boyfriend he is from ireland and is thinking of staying back to get the job seekers allowance from ireland because it's more supposedly but by the time he applied for it would be start of September ( summer job ending around that time) it roughly takes about 8/10 weeks to get it then you have to have it for 4 weeks before you get transfer to have it so you can have your dole in your bank account so i worked it probaly be jaunary time before he even gets over to the uk am i right in thinking he better off just coming straight to the uk and claiming from the uk??? he would also have to pay his parents board while staying with them about 50quid a week he is 23 :confused:
