    hi there,

Ok so my first thread contains a weird question...
I lost my driving licence over a year ago, got a duplicate and all was well.
Today I was cleaning my car, Just under the aircon controls there is a tiny postbox like slit and low and behold there was my original driving licence!!
Should I return the original licence to the gards or the duplicate?

    Thanks in advance

By rights you're meant to. No point though imo

I would set fire or shred the one you found, no point in bringing it to the station and causing confusion over which is the valid one.

just hold onto it, it's always handy to have a spare and as they will have the same number on them it will be valid.

There's no need for a spare licence, the only one that's valid is the replacement.

If the OP needs to produce and produces the wrong one there could be issues.

Destroy it or hand it in, there are no issues with finding something after you've reported it lost and handing it in.
