I had a run in with a deer with my Scimitar and I need a good garage that can work on fiberglass/GRP to fix the damage to the nose and side wing.
Anybody know anyone in or near Cork preferably or Munster even.
    Thanks

F/glassing is easy...messy but easy...would you not try a bit of diy...?

    yes fiber-glassing is easy :)
Re-Aligning the wing, grinding out the stress cracks, replacing the gel coat and matching the paint is not :D

Yes I suppose I could go at it myself but I don't think id get a very good finish. I want it done in a reasonable amount of time too - it would take me months to complete doing a bit every day I think.

You can see the crack over the headlight and another one half way along the wing. There is also damage across the front above the name strip and stress cracks almost all the way to the other wing across the front of and further back along the LHS wing.

    Where are you located?

i'm in wexford ,a bit too far in all fairness, but saying that there is a lad in mooncoin called Gary Mooney, who travels to jobs,he would be a professional ,don't know what his rates are,i'm just waiting for a friend to get back to me with his no,failing that you could try Lencraft in Dungarvin, perhaps one of the staff would do a mixer for you.
it looks bad enough, hope i never hit a deer in mine.
