I am wondering if Revenue have on their website trade profiles which they use when doing an audit (in particular for newsagents or publicans).

Can't seem to find it on the their website but I thought it was there.

Revenue probably have profiles, but I am sure that would be sensitive information. Margins, levels of owners drawings, level of wages and so forth is very valuable information. Why would Revenue disclose such data? If you are facing some sort of Revenue investigation or audit you should immediately get the help of an experienced accountant or bookkeeper who is used to dealing with this situation.

I have seen a Revenue profile in relation to publicans in a revenue audit and was wondering if that information was freely available

They used to be freely available, but I can't find any on their website at present.

Revenue Trade Profiles were made available under the FoI Act, with certain sections omitted. For a while they were published on the Revenue website but are no longer published there. Many accountants would still have them. Whether they would still be available under a FoI request I am not sure.
