Does the laptop normally connect ok to other wireless points?

Have you updated the driver lately?

    Same issue here also :(
You get anywhere with solving the problem?
I’m on a Vista operating system.
We have 2 laptops for one upc wireless network, the Mac connected no problem after inputting the password, but my laptop gets timeout error after entering password.

Not a broadband issue. Moved to Windows forum because it sounds like an OS/software issue.

    which laptop ?

if a very old one it may only support WEP and not WPA (unlikely though)

are you using the windows config or the manufaccturers config to control the card ? - whichever try the other

Is this a routing issue perhaps?
