I heard the scariest story a couple of days ago.

Apparently the Gardaí are looking into a case where fraudsters had hacked into someone's iPhone and sent illegal pornographic stuff to other phones, apparently in an attempt to blackmail them.

Is this possible?? Has it happened? And can the network providers guard against it?

Sounds very much like a "mate of a mate heard...". Pinch of salt required I'd wager.

Bloody NotW! These phone 'hacking' scares will be around for months, all because some people didn't change their voice mail pins.

im still finding it hard to grasp that the royal family and their aides etc etc still think its neccessary to leave voicemails in this day and age.
