Society golf score for reduction in h cap ?

    I had a winning society score last week. 3 points better than ccs on the day, so I thought.. great a reduction of point 6. checked my golfnet but nothing. I ve been told that society golf scores count for general play review at the end of the year and not an immediate cut. Very disappointed, ( I was hoping to counteract all the point ones I ve been amassing lately,) can anyone verify that please- ?

    Yip thats how it generally works. Quite often societies are also off different tees to competition tees for the day so CSS doesnt count.

    Correct. Counts as a notable performance to be taken into account for general play cuts. Make sure you let your club know or it won't even influence a gp adjustment.
