can someone PM me a stove installer they would recomend, I live a few miles NW of cork city , Also am looking for recomendations for a place that sells stoves, Have been to a few around cork but I doubt their expertise on the subject. I only want to pay and install this stove 1 time only and not be repairing after a shabby installation in a couple years.

which inset stove has the larger burning enclosure? they all seem small to me and trying to fit a decent size of timber into it could be a problem

I was in MD O'Sheas in Ballincollig last week. They had a good selection of Stanley stoves and staff seemed very knowledgeable. They also have some installers they provided contact details for. I've rung a couple of them and again they seemed experienced and worth going to the next stage with.

Ya was in MD Oshea's, Not very impressed with them, I think I have settled on an ESSE 350 insert, but I am not able to find a place that I can look at one,

Olden Fireplaces in Carrigaline. I know someone getting an Esse stove fitted from them soon.

ya, spoke to those people in Carrigaline, not impressed with their knowledge of regulations around stove installations etc, which to me is important, I need to have confidence in who I deal with on this purchase. I read up on the regs so I know soon enough when people are not up to speed with the regs.So i did not purchase, The show room is good I must say.

Prestige Fireplaces opposite Musgraves Cash & Carry. I found them very helpful. Also Kiely Stoves in Mallow.

Hi Noel, am going to install a esse 350, there is plenty of room for large timber blocks etc, also they look good and are made in uk with a long history of manufacturing.
