UPC + Slingbox

    Anyone have one connected? Without resurrecting zombie threads I didn't see one on the Slingbox and errors etc.

    I've had this slingbox hooked up in my folks for a while but it wasn't working well because their broadband is so bad. I've since moved it up to my place with 12mb UPC and basic digi channels. This is for my bro who lives abroad.

    Power and Network lights are on and steady, network is fine, did a factory reset on slingbox to remove any IP settings from previous location. constantly getting the "Your Slingbox has been disconnected because of a poor Internet connection. Try connecting again." error.
    Nothing wrong with the network. After multiple reboots of lappy, router and slingbox I managed to get it working through the slingplayer (only works on LAN) but as soon as internet set up starts it says "...slingbox disconnected..."

    Researching on slingbox site says this is an IP issue, but all IP settings were removed, and then configured again! Pulling my hair out... anyone had any success with this?
