Job seekers means test

Hi I'm 24, just wondering if someone could help me out. I applied for Job seekers allowance 6 weeks ago and still waiting to hear if I qualify. I live with my boyfriend who makes around €500 euro after tax. When I initially applied they said not to worry about that. He doesn't support me (we've been together a short time just living together as I don't have a job at the mo) but now after looked at boards I'm really worried that I'm going to get nothing. Can anyone help me calculate? I've no savings, no income. Really worried thanks a mill

Your a cohabiting couple so you will be means tested.
You will need to give us how much your boyfriend gets a week before tax as that is what your means are based on not after tax.

€2100 a month so I guess just over €500? The guy in the SWO said I should get around €60 but having looked at this forum people seem to be getting rejected for having €400 a wk I was really counting on this money

Ok if he is on about 25k a year it would work out at about 45 a week the more he earns the less you will get.
