Im sure most people who work in city centre are aware of this, but just in case. Dicey's have reduced the price of their carvery (noon - 2PM) from €6.50 to €6.25 following VAT reduction. Usually four mains available with huge portions.

Massive portions indeed, and they'll give you all you want. Awful, awful carvery though, but I suppose that's the trade off!

Went in today for the first time in months hoping it might have improved. Unfortunately it hasnt. The chips were literally like rubber.

Also there is an elderly woman walking around talking very loudly, almost shouting, that at first I thought was touched but actually works there!

Not great quality food, but paying 6 odd euro in city centre... you can't expect much. Still decent spot at night, cheap beer for the win.

It's 6.25 in Coppers too. I was in there the other day and it was good enough. Quantity over quality but I wasn't hungry for the rest of the day.

So the bargain is a 25cent saving?

Walk up Harcourt Street a bit further to the Harcourt Hotel or Little Caesars - a few cent more perhaps but very good in my opinion

The Lamb Korma is pretty decent in Diceys IMO.

Not necessarily the 25cent but €6.25 as opposed to €11 in Sinnotts is a bargain.

I'd prefer if you didn't speak about Coppers like that, no need for it.

Love these urban myths. If she owns the place what is she doing collecting trays?

€9.90 if you have a concession card which is available by the till. Now that is a feed!
