Hi, just wondering has anyone in the know here, heard if there may be any surprises for the Bray airshow, on sunday week, this year. The last couple of years the americans have done a surprise flyby of some kind of big bird. would like to know as the rest of the line up is mostly the same as has appeared many times, but would hate to hear i missed something good if I don't head into the show.

Even if they had a surprise they would not announce it due to the anti-war protests it would bring.

O i know it would.nt be on the official lineup, because of those half dozen plonkers trying to ruin the day for everyone, but last year a couple of people in the know let it be known on a couple of aviation forums that the B52 was coming, so genuine aircraft folk would.nt miss it.

Not all the same stuff this year. New cityjet, Aer Lingus a32o retrojet and the iolar as well as the rv8totrs but would love some fast jet action or some us heavies.
