Dual fuel range cooker - Position in kitchen

Currently in process of self build. Are thinking of getting a dual fuel range (electric & gas). Only issue is that our range can only real fit against an internal wall. Just wondering does this mean that I'm prevented from having a gas hob as the cylinder which would normally be kept outside will not be able to be positioned right behind the hob. Has anyone got a gas cooker that isn't placed beside an external wall?

    thanks

No. Get a RGI in to discus options.

Thanks Billy Bunting. Haven't got our plumber on board yet but will speak to him about it when I do. So it's not as uncommon as I'd thought then. I assume it might mean additional costs though.
