apps on galaxy 2 with meteor

i bought the phone two weeks ago on meteor and when i turned the phone on for first time there was already apps on it like entertainment.ie,goldenpages,rte news.gael fon free,my meteor account. are these apps all preloaded on meteor smartphones or was i sold a phone that someone else already had there hands on?
