Hi , I have two large double radiators in my room 250 x 70 cm. they are the old type without fins in the centre. These are connected to gun barrell piping. Im looking to replace them with the modern type and possibly smaller in physical size if possible. Is there a calculation to determine their BTU output. Can anyone suggest what their output might be in BTU's.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Rgs, Jim.

What room are they in Jim. The BTU method of sizing is a rule of thumb way. The new radiators will most certainly be smaller than the old one's either way.
Let me know what room's they are in and I will post a quick calculation for you.
