when ever i changed track rod ends i always did it myself. a good quality fishing line tied around the car at the centre of the wheels, making sure the steering wheel is dead centre. and adjusted the ends to suit. if there is body trim in the way i'd get four pieces of wood of the same thickness and pack out the line on each wheel. 2 front and 2 back.
It's worked a treat for me and i have had it lasered to be double sure and each time it's been spot on.
