I'm going to New York the end of December, start of January.

I'd like to see an NFL game when I'm there, presuming the season is underway by then.

Which team should I see and which is the easiest to get to from City Centre?

The regular season will be ending first weekend in january so you should be fine. Both Giants & Jets play at Meadowlands in New Jersey. Not sure how easy it is to get there from city centre. As for tics, both teams are well supported but i know a few guys here know where you can get tickets (it was on other threads)

Getting there is handy enough from Manhatten:

www.351express.com Coach USA run an Express Service to it for games.

As for ticket keep an eye on Ticketmaster when the NFL season is confirmed to see if you are lucky enough to get tickets for either Jets/Giants.

If you can't get them on public sale the NFL runs a ticket exchange through ticket master which is on the NFL website. It will re-route to a ticketmaster site. http://www.nfl.com/tickets (These tickets will be above face value) http://www.ticketexchangebyticketmaster.com/NFL/

Other than that there is sites like Stubhub, Vividseat, Chefko and others again like the NFL/ticketmaster exchange they are above face value.

Good Luck with your hunt as Spongey said they are both well supported and can be hard getting tickets for either team especially if they are playing well leading into the end of the season.

As it's the end of the season if either of the team are in contention for a playoff spot you'll find it hard to get tickets other than paying ridiculous prices off a tout.

The home fixtures for NY teams in late Dec/early Jan (presuming season goes ahead!) are

18 Dec Redskins @ Giants (division rivals so expect high demand for tickets)
24 Dec Giants @ Jets (forget about getting tickets for this one!)
1 Jan Cowboys @ Giants (as with the Redskins, division rivals and both would expect to be in with a shout for a playoff spot so tickets could be expensive for this one too).

The following w'end you're into the playoffs.

I'm going to New York in November and will likely be heading to see Rutgers @ Army in Yankee Stadium. Tickets for 30 euro each.
