Some Irish going well here. McDowell really looking like he's getting back to his best and Harrington starting to resemble the Harrington we all know and love.

Fantastic golf course there at Castle Stuart... play\e d suspended right now and, according to eurotour.com, no play today before 2.0pm. Still some players who're yet to finish their second round.

Have enjoyed watching this the past couple of days and about time common sense prevailed and the Scottish Open went to a Links course. This has been reflected in the quality of the field that has shown up.

Looks likes Monty's dream of getting into the Open is gone after that double bogey.

Great rounds from Lowry and McGinley so far today. Both 5 under for the day.

Lost a ball or took an unplayable drop or both, hit out backwards, but that still doesn't come to 7. So I don't know exactly.

solid few days work for Paddy. 12 under par foe the tournament and should set him up nicely foe next week although he wont have 60 yard width fairways to aim for.

Some steady for allright. Soft wet wide fairways won't present themselves next weekend. Still better than a missed cut!

Very hard to gauge his form from that course, but it should give him a boost going into the Open.
