B727 9Q-COP CRASH

    As above this aircraft crashed in The Congo yesterday with the loss of 50 of the 90 passengers.(As reported at the moment)
    9Q-COP was originally delivered to LH as D-ABIR and then became a biz-jet for many years before going back into passenger service with Hewa Bora Airways.

    Also was the same aircraft in a Back Street Boys Video

    Conflicting reports on this aircraft
    JACDEC report it as being 18323/136 but they have linked a photo of 18933/185
    CH aviation fleet lists it as 18933/185 as does airliners.net

    After a quick search on the net and going through a number of fleet listings it seems that 9Q-COP is indeed the aircraft that I reported it to be
    9Q-COP 18933/185 delivered 46 years ago to LH
