This is the first part of a five part campaign, what happens in the first part will influence the storyline and objectives in the second and so on.
Although this is not a full milsim it will maintain some of the core elements such as medic rules and ammo limits, this is partly to bridge the gap between skirmishing and milsim.

    Date: Sunday 17th July
Location: Bellurgan Park Airsoft, Dundalk, Co.Louth
    Prices: 20euro
    Time: Sign in from 9.30am
    Game on: 11.30
    Endex: 18.00

It is to every players benefit to read and understand the rules before the game.HERE

    Background:
The BNLA have recently taken control of the settlement Molov and are currently constructing a blockade at the border to cut off commonwealth supply lines to the east, They have also established a anti air network in the area that has so far successfully denied the commonwealth their air superiority in the area.
Belkan government forces have put together a mechanised task force with the goal of re-establishing their supply lines into east Belka, re-gaining air superiority and to crush the rebel insurgency.

    Factions:
    Commonwealth of Belka
    Belkan National Liberation Army

Objectives will become available depending on how the conflict plays out and on the decisions of battle commanders.

Any questions feel free to contact us via facebook or email us at
    airsoft@bellurganpark.ie

If you are interested let us know what faction you would prefer to be on, bear in mind you may be transferred to another faction on the day depending on numbers.

I have just discovered our stock of BB's is running lower than I thought, so I would recommend players bring their own if possible. we will be trying to sort out an emergency stock for Sunday.

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We would also encourage players to make use of orange death rags if you have them, we have some on site for €1 each.

Government forces are full up, we will keep teams together but be prepared to swap over.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

    Thanks

Think the government side filled up so quick due to the fact nobody has or wants to wear a bandanna. Should use caps and boonies instead;)

    Just a suggestion.

    Berets even

Fair point. If the government are all bush hats then the rebels can be a mix-match of any headgear, as long as the two sides are clearly different it wont matter, our original thinking with bandannas was so that both sides would contrast each other.

Aye i always enjoy playing here , but the none hit taking had me nearly walking off the site , Great game though but some players need to have a think about why they play airsoft.

Agree with points already made but would like to add a few.
For the next installment I'd like to see a few changes such as

RADIOS; I like to see every section leader issued with a command radio so they can keep intouch and up to date with current objectives. This would also allow each section to operate on their own channel as the radios where getting very cluttered and people where cutting in all the time.

MAPS; I'd like to see every player issued with a map when signing in. This will help keep the going as it will give players better reference when communicating and allow for people to clearly communicate objectives. They don't have to be fancy maps just simple paper prints than tell players to bring pens/pencils and a pollypocket.

Just two suggestions that might help with to keep the game flowing a bit more. You may or may not agree but sure no harm making suggestions.

Anyway thanks to the lads for a good days gaming and for trying to keep the non-hit takers in check. At the end of the day its down to the players to make the game. Cheers lads.

I actually have two maps of the site, neither of which were where I expected them (my kit bag and inside my combat vest) and could not be found on the morning!

    Was really annoying.

Thanks for the suggestions robbie and your dead right on both points another thing Ill do for the next one is have all the rules on the back of the maps for clarity.

We will defiantly be getting more of the command radios, command and control is very important and it broke down on both sides fairly quickly.

Ill also be gathering everything together for a report on what happened story wise as soon as possible.

There were lots of lessons learned and we will do everything we can to improve things for part 2.

Thanks and keep up the suggestions they really are appreciated :)
