Bloody disgrace they're not showing it on tv anyway  Loads of links like this when you google
    http://www.upvery.com/143135-cork-vs-galway-live-stream-tv-gaa-hurling-online-video-on-pc.html
.... But does any of that sh1te ever work? I'm not hugely well-up on streaming stuff etc :o

    Doubtful.

Any online stream I watched was just linked to an official broadcaster(Sky, ESPN etc....) considering only RTE and TV3 have cameras at the grounds that rules out any possibility.

There is an exception to the rule, Shamrock Rovers sometimes steam games online, with the permission of the club(supporters commentary so don't expect them to know the opposition and the camera work/positioning is poor but to be expected).
I think some other small clubs do this too broadcasting through a site like Ustream.

Obviously though something like that would be unprecedented in GAA, who would the permission be sought from?.. HQ?.. home venues County board?.. Both?.

That's the only way around such an issue if the Irish stations won't broadcast, and considering the GAA cut the schedule to increase attendances seems unlikely they'd agree in any case.

I think if they had an online website with streams off these non-televised qualifiers games they could charge E5 or E10.... I'd certainly pay to see the Galway/Meath game as I'm already going to the hurling that day :(.
If it didn't extend to anything but qualifiers, considering there's only one or two a year I'd certainly pay.

EDIT: Those links won't work, there's just no way a random website can have access to TV pictures unless RTE stream to them on the QT.
They show for everything..... When I'm trying to get text updates of Galway United away games (which are obviously not televised) I get sites showing up saying the same thing.

Just computer generated spam that you're likely to get viruses from(why else would they want you to click into a site portraying to show something thats not even broadcast)
