    Hello
Im flying out from Dublin to Glasgow on Wednesday with Aer Lingus

My Aer lingus ticket has my first and last name
But my passport has my first, middle and last name.

    Will this be a problem?

I know its a very minor issue and I tried ringing aer lingus but they are closed for inquiries until morning. Im hoping somebody can reassure me so I can sleep easier. The reason I ask in the first place is because its a work related trip and I was asked specifically if my middle name appears on my passport, I rang home and was told it doesn't show, I arrived home and found it was in fact there.

    Thanks

My middle name shows in my passport. I have never in my life included it when booking a flight. It has never been an issue. So you can sleep easy... there is nothing to worry about. The last time I took a flight, the travel agency glued "dr" to the end of my first name as I have a PhD. It clearly should not be part of my first name but yet again, nobody cared. Nothing to worry about.

For future reference next time you're renewing your passport you can have your middle name left out. It makes life a lot easier.
