    1984 Koga-Miyata Gentsracer for sale.

Shimano 600-EX groupset, including seatpost and stem. (According to Sheldon Brown's shimano page, 600 became Ultegra when 7 speeds came in in the early 90s.)

Double-butted FM-2 chrom-moly steel tubing and HM-2 Hi-Manga forks (Koga had their own tubing mill apparently).
Super Champion "Arc-en-ciel" lightweight tubular rims.
D'alessandro specialissimo tyres. And a really nice suede saddle to boot.

All fairly high-end vintage stuff. It was number three in the Koga-Miyata range at the time, behind the FullPro and the ProRacer. Check it out on page 6 of the 1984 Koga-Miyata Brochure (in Dutch).

It's in really great condition, I've barely used it since I got it as I found it a bit small for me, and it looks like it's seen little use since it left the factory in 1984. Some slight flaws to note are some water marks on the suede saddle, which could be cleaned out, a missing dustcap on one of the pedals, and a few small scratches to the right seatstay. Other than that it's pretty much immaculate.

Frame is 63cm center-to-top. This may sound huge, but I'm 6'4" and I found it a bit cramped due to the short seat post and stem so I think this would be fine for anyone around the 6'-6'2" mark. Potential buyers are welcome to try it out anyway. I'm based in Galway.

    €400 o.n.o.
