Hi All, We recently recieved a piece of Jade as a present. I want to get it valued as a friend thinks it could be worth a bit and if it is I dont want to leave it on the mantlepiece to get broken. Would anyone have any idea of where to value something like this, in the west if possible? Many thanks in advance

Lets see a photo of the jade !

Such a tricky area these days , even the experts cant value jade ....... a complete lottery at auction .

But modern jade isn't so collectible . Plenty of dyed glass doing the rounds , also soapstone simulations etc.

Would love to see an image of your jade !!
