    hey guys,
    quick question on ticket prices:

when they say 'under 16's:free', is this strictly under 16, like do 16 year olds have to pay?

match in question is galway v cork in limerick, (9/7/11)
@ the galway v clare match previous to this, 'juveniles' were free?

probably sounds fairly stupid but just wonderin really, can anybody shine a bit of light on this?

    Regards,
    P

Usually if you look in any way around 16 they'll let you away with it. I'd say if you're 16 it won't be a problem.

They aren't going to ask you to prove you're U-16 unless you have a beard and grey hair.

seen a good few minor players that fit that description

They stopped me at one match a few years ago.... I was 13!!!! :D
Only time I ever had problems was ironically in Limerick!

Ah you should get away with it unless you don't look too "old" :P

Cork must be the worst county in Ireland for stopping people using the u16 gate. They'd nearly ask ya to produce your birth cert if they thought they'd get away with it.But sure you only have to look at the hierarchy in the county board to figure out why.Miserable shower of ..........

    hi guys,
went to the match alright, just by chance i said i'd bring a copy of the birth cert.
sure as god at the gate i was asked age and d.o.b, yet they still didn't believe me!
should've of seen my smug face as i pulled out the birth cert and your man had to step out of my way and let me through....'sigh'....good times

might as well get what i can at under 16 rates

if however i didnt have the birth cert i was more than willingly going to pay the fee to enter, as i'm not that much of a stingy b*****d ;)

the bit i love is how during the leauge kids prices into the dublin matches in croke park were €5 and in every other ground we went to around the country they were free...

The good old days when you paid at the stile to get onto The Hill, don't think there was an adult price ever charged !

The 'ol GAA is gas. I've brought our U12s to matches where there were 'chaps' on the opposing team that would have no problem ordering a pint :D
