Advice on getting Cover gigs in Dublin

Hi Folks,
I just relocated to Dublin, I play acoustic guitar and I sing. I've plenty of experience, I was gigging solo in pubs in Holland for the last 6 months. My playlist is a mix of classic rock, blues and Irish folk.
some artists I cover;
Rory Gallagher,
Muddy Waters,
Led Zepp,
Jimi Hendrix,
Thin Lizzy,
Neil Young,
The Beatles,
The Waterboys,...you get the picture...

Anybody know some good pubs for me to try? How does one 'get a start' around here? Do I need a promoter?/Anybody know a good promoter?
Any other advice that comes to mind would be greatly appreciated.

I've a lot more experience, and a lot more control over my voice since I recorded these. But they do give some idea of what I'm like.

Put your songs on a CD, go into a pub, ask to speak to a manager. Tell him what you want, give him the CD and wait for him to call you.
If he doesn't call within a week, call him yourself.
That's my advice. Worked for me
