    What make of car? Reason I ask is that I don't think you normally need a ball joint separator to change the drop links. I haven't come across it anyway.

    Sorry I can't help with the lend of the seperator by the way.

    It's a Xantia.
    The seperator is needed to get the wishbone off. The droplinks were kind of a "while I'm down there" job :) but the nuts are stuck on the last couple of threads and wont budge so I'll be citting them off, hence they need to be done asap.

    What part of the city are you in?

    I have the fork type one, but it usually damages the rubber boot on the ball joint, so you can't re-use them afterwards, its grand if your changing the ball joint too.
