Hi, can anyone recommend a good dentist or specialist in Galway or Dublin for a dental implant (who doesn't charge over the odds)?

    Please PM any suggestions.

By the way, when should you see a specialist as opposed to a general dentist for an implant?

    Thanks in advance.

I specialist will have more training, more knowledge and more experience than a general dentist in their particular field some with little price difference to a general dentist.

I just used <snip> in Galway to get an implant. Getting a lot of other work done too.<snip> is who I used. Was recommended to use him by my wife who got some veneers after an accident before we met. Found them brilliant in there. Very clean. Also I am ****less of dentist but I felt very at ease in there. Not sure about pricing. I paid quite a lot for a lot of work. Could have got it done cheaper abroad but I want to be able to get in there in 5 minutes flat if anything goes wrong. I only have the temp new tooth in at the moment as you have to wait 3-4 month for the implant to take. If your in no panic I can let you know how it all went by December time. Let me know if you are going to use them as I think they have some referals thing where you can win an ipad and I wouldn't mind it:D.

PM me if you want any details on my implant experience.

PS Eat plenty of food before the implant work is done.
