Very odd and awkward. Both got fairly rude to each other.

In a never meet your heroes type way. Tsk you are on the radio section and you dont know who Tommy Boyd is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Boyd

Some people are saying it is a wind up but there is a fair bit of truth in there about Tommy and the way his career winded up.

I used to listen to his show when he was on TalkradioUK in the afternoons (1997) very enjoyable show, always looked forwarded to it.

Tommy Boyd is a legend of UK talk radio, and really should be on air. In fact I'm sure he would be if there was a talk station which interested him enough - and wasn't too far from his home!

That interview only turned sour because I think Iain Lee (who I do like) became a little condescending (I'm on the air now, you're not) and Boyd took umbrage to that. Boyd also has a history of very subtely winding people up, which I think he was doing there.

Typical of a guy who has nothing to prove, entertaining himself with a bit of sport!

I usually quite like him but I though Iain Lee's conduct was disgraceful, especially when you consider Tommy Boyd is one of his radio heroes.

Iain seemed extremely peeved that Tommy wasn't handing him anecdote after anecdote of radio gold and became increasingly rude. Tommy reciprocated.

Today Iain tweeted "p1ss off @TheTommyBoyd you were arrogant, disrespectful".

    Charming.

Have you seen his tweets about someone impersonating him and his baby son? I'm becoming increasingly suspicious it is actually Iain who created the fake accounts to stir up some publicity.
