Have a 2007 Kia Sportage Commerical 2wd with 132,000K on it. Never gave a minutes trouble and cheap to run.

I bought it as I'm self employed and enjoy the elevated driving position, I do around 800k a week. I get 40plus mpg from it. i rarely carry anything more than a brief case, maybe the odd box of files. I travel back roads two or three days a month and believe it or not the higher ground clearence comes in handy.

I want to change up, dont no what else to get, or if its even worth changing.

    My needs are
    diesel
    commercial*
    nippy
and for less than 10K plus vat with the Sportage as a trade in on top of the 10k

    advise please

    * The only reason I drive a commercial is that I'm VAT regsitered.

Not too much choice left for commercials which aren't actual vans, due to legislation changes earlier this year.

Ford Kuga commercial should do the job. €24,180 ex. works (inlcuding VAT). Roughly the same size as the Sportage, cracking 2.0Tdci 140ps engine that is generally reliable and Ford servicing is very reasonable. I think it's a good looking machine, and it's 4x4 so will get through the snow when it arrives.

Might be pushing it to change to a new one + €10k though. Your current motor isn't worth €10k including VAT.

No I was expecting to only be allowed 5-6 on my own for a trade in. I dont like the KUGA i had one on a test and was glad to get back into the KIA. I'v been looking for a while now, Subaru Forrester seems nice, again out of my budget :(

I dont work on the moon but I do average minimum of 200k a day minimum. Today I driven to Dundalk, Monaghan town, in Longford now coming bcak to Dublin through Navan. Tomorrow supposed to be in kildare but calling it off due to Oxygen

I recently sold a Tucson commercial, 2009, for 13k inc vat. They're the exact same as a Sportage, built in the same factory I believe. Try get one of them, even for say 14k, and you'll keep some of the 10 grand Cost to Change to spend at the fuel pumps...
